Episode 8: The Academy

Jesse and owner Jason Matherley chat about the classes and programs available at The Academy. Truly something for all ages all experience levels, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling martial art that uses strategic moves and timing to reach a submission of the opponent. It is a popular type of self-defense. Located in Rivergate Mall at a state-of-the-art 10,000 sq. ft. studio, The Academy conducts Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes for kids and adults, and MMA classes for adults. They also feature a sauna and a large inventory of merchandise and gear, including their own Upside/Down Apparel brand.
